PRAYER & SUPPORT

We trust your time with us was gratifying as well as an eye-opening experience as you interacted with the poor. Collectively our Spectrum team spends about 365 days a year in ministry. Yes, even Christmas Eve, we are on the road giving a Christmas to the very poor in our areas, as you can learn by checking out the 'OUR HISTORY' section.

If you would want to team up with us, there are several ways you could be of help even though you might live thousands of miles away.

PRAYER: Don't under estimate prayer! We appreciate anyone who would take time out to pray for us and our ministry. Because you've been with us and have seen our world and work, you can pray more intelligently. Remember, a top prayer concern in our dangerous world is safety!

COMMUNICATIONS: Our monthly prayer letters on line, by e-mail or sent by mail with receipts to our donors, are meant to keep you up to date. We believe in communication.

SPECIAL SEASON: Christmas is our biggest challenge! Giving blankets, tarps, shoes, candy, food and toys for all ages creates quite an expense. We're talking thousands of kids and adults. Many of our team share their Christmas with us. Some families, as a Christmas project, shop for toys and send them to us. (Address for packages below.)

DONATIONS: As many of you have witnessed, we give out more than two-thousand pieces of children's clothing a month. Most of the clothing is used but in good condition. Prime ages are eight to twelve years old. Yes, we always have a need for good used shoes and clothing or new clothing and it comes from donations. Underwear and socks must be purchased new. NOTE: We only solicit children's clothing NOT adult clothing. (Address for packages are listed below.)

FINANCE: Though we don't pressure or push for donations, most of us understand that finances are the backbone of ministry. Hidden expenses like gas, wages (we're talking minimum here.) kids education, produce, kids medical help, orphanage help. On and on the list goes.
