JOINING US IN MEXICO

If you are planning on joining us as we work in Tijuana or if you plan to visit or help in another ministry in Mexico the following information will be very helpful. Knowing what to expect of your visit and time in Mexico will give you a confidence and help you learn lessons here at home and not have to learn them on location in Tijuana. IF SPECTRUM IS NOT FOR YOU!

We are a small and rather unique ministry, working just across our border in Tijuana. We are not what most would consider a Short Term Mission, that is, a per person package program to serve somewhere in the world.   • BRING ID!
    As many have found getting into Mexico is as easy as crossing the border but getting back into the United States is another story. CAUTION: If you are not an American citizen you must have the proper paperwork to re-enter the United States.

  • FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
    After the many years we have been working with visitors in Tijuana we have listed all of the common questions we have been asked with their answers. If you have some questions, before you call and ask us, simply scroll down this list of Frequently Asked Question and see if your question isn't there with an honest answer.

  • GETTING ON OUR CALENDAR
    In the good old days we didn't need a calendar but as we grew we found a calendar essential. Unfortunately we are booked up most of the time so groups have to plan in advance. Sometimes we overbook because groups cancel and this may lead to a crowded day. Keep your groups down to a van load. Remember our dormitory in Tijuana is another calendar item.

  • WHAT WE EXPECT
    This page will give you an idea of what we expect of our visitors as they work with us in Mexico. I would advise youth leaders that are planning on bringing down groups that will be working with us in Mexico to look this page over carefully. Most of this is simply a mixture of common sense and courtesy. Spectrum's testimony is at stake here and we consider our testimony very important. Please help us make a good impression in the barrio.
